From our founding in 2009 through more than 10 acquisitions, Xpansiv has become a global leader in environmental commodity markets.  We are backed by Blackstone and other leading investors Description: The APX Market Operations Support Specialist is a high-impact role in supporting our wholesale power market operations (wind, solar, energy storage, and load resources) across, ERCOT, CAISO, MISO, SPP, PJM, NYISO, and ISO-NE. APX Market Operators are full-time client service specialists responsible for using proprietary technology and market expertise to facilitate wholesale electricity transactions across several geographic regions. Market Operators communicate with our clients via phone and email to ensure the proper flow of information between them and the operator of the electricity grid. Market Operators are also responsible for research and documentation of market changes, internal product testing and feedback, and the maintenance of Market Operations support procedures. What you’ll do: · 24/7 Real-Time Operations o Support all clients including, but not limited to: o Resource Management (Dispatch, Outage, 24/7 Agent) o Transaction Management (Day-Ahead/Real-Time Scheduling) o Helpdesk support for MarketSuite, APX System/Infrastructure and Market Knowledge o NERC E-Tag Monitoring and Adjustments · Monitor all serviced client portfolios and ensure valid submissions prior to Market Deadlines · Escalate and address all System Emergencies in-line with Operating Procedures · Assist with internal system testing · Maintenance and Development of Operational Documentation · Daily Reporting on market and client activities What you’ll bring: o Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or technical field o Excellent verbal and written communication skills o Ability to react to quickly changing priorities and strict deadlines o Strong analytic skills o High level of attention to detail o Ability to work rotating shift work, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays Desired Qualifications: o PJM operations certification/experience  o Knowledge of using ISO systems for outage reporting, scheduling and dispatching o Working knowledge of SCADA Systems o Prior Control Center Experience o Experience with testing Software or reporting software issues o Basic SQL knowledge Skills and Abilities: · Excellent customer experience and service skills · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills · Excellent oral and written communication · Maintaining records · Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and business judgement · Be a self-starter, and work well independently as well as in a collaborative team environment · Comfortable interacting with executive team members · Ability to quickly absorb business, technical and market concepts · Proven ability to react calmly under tight deadlines · Technical proficiency in Microsoft OS and Office Suite · SharePoint Collaboration · Basic SQL knowledge

Base Salary
Compensation for this role will vary among specific regions due to geographic differentials in the labor market, actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, knowledge, education and training. However, compensation in the following regions is expected to be as follows:
California: Compensation is expected to be between
$60,000 and $75,000
