FitMate provides highly personalized MNT for weight management thanks to our unique model which combines weekly RD sessions with AI-powered meal log analysis and between-session text support.

What your sessions look like

Each week before your call with a patient, you'll have access to an AI tool that analyzes your patient's meal logs and highlights key opportunity area.

Using those insights, combined with your clinical expertise and behavioral change techniques, you will agree on one focused improvement with the patient — typically one meal, one target (protein, calories, etc.).

Our AI tools helps you produce billing charts in record time!

Between sessions, our support team keeps patients on track with their weekly goal via text based on a live analysis of their logs.

This model that combines human care with AI:

• Lets you focus on high-quality conversations with patients informed by real insights of their meals
• Allows patients to receive highly targeted feedback based on their logs and accountability throughout the week.
• Limits your time spent on paperwork and texting with patients.

Logistics

• Telehealth only, serving patients in CA, FL, TX, and PA (nationwide rollout planned soon)
• 1099 independent contractor, paid per call session (lasting 30min - 1 hour)
• FitMate handles patient assignment, scheduling, and all insurance billing
• You'll chart in ADIME format in our platform (Healthie), our AI system will accelerate the process by producing a first draft so as to be very time-efficient for you!
• If you're not yet credentialed with a payer, we'll handle credentialing (90-150 days). If you are credentialed, we will rooster your NPI number (30-60 days).

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN)
• Licensed in CA, FL, TX and/or PN (future states in the pipeline)
• Individual NPI number (or willingness to obtain one immediately)
• CAQH ProView profile completed (or willingness to complete within 2 weeks of offer)
• Experience with MNT for obesity, diabetes, or cardiometabolic conditions
• Comfortable with telehealth delivery and asynchronous patient communication

Nice to Have

• Existing credentialing with United, Aetna or other major payers (significantly accelerates start date)
• Experience with GLP-1 medication support or bariatric nutrition
• Familiarity with insurance billing and MNT documentation requirements
