Quoting Operations Analyst

This role supports complex sales activities by driving process improvements and ensuring deal accuracy while contributing to enhanced seller experience and operational excellence.

The Basics:

Quoting Operations at Tanium is an embedded revenue partner. Our team operates as a global Center of Excellence, supporting the global sales team across complex quoting, enablement, renewals, process improvement, Marketplace transactions, and strategic deal support. We don’t just process quotes - we help sellers win. We are seeking an Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment and wants to play a meaningful role in accelerating revenue, enabling sellers, and scaling operational excellence. 

This position follows the Company’s hybrid schedule which currently requires employees to work in the office at one of the following locations a minimum of three days per week: Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.

What you’ll do:

  • Act as a revenue partner to Sales, supporting complex quotes, renewals, expansions, and Marketplace transactions for the Midmarket and Commercial teams 
  • Own deal accuracy and governance — ensure opportunities and quotes are structured correctly before booking 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce CPQ issues quickly, minimizing friction and keeping deals on track 
  • Drive process improvements in partnership with Sales Leadership, Sales Ops, and Deal Desk to reduce manual effort and increase seller efficiency 
  • Contribute to ongoing global initiatives that improve the seller experience, deal hygiene, and deal velocity 
  • Support the development and delivery of strategic sales enablement 

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. 
  • 1-3+ years’ proven experience in sales, sales support, deal management, or related roles. 
  • Baseline understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions. 
  • Experience in driving change and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce CPQ).

What you’ll get 

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $55,000 to $160,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.
