Quantum System Specialist

As a Quantum System Specialist, you will play a critical role in integrating and optimizing advanced quantum computing systems within enterprise resource planning frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities where quantum technologies can enhance operational efficiency, decision-making, and innovation. This position involves analyzing current systems, implementing solutions, and continuously monitoring performance to ensure optimal functionality. You will provide guidance and training to staff while staying ahead of emerging trends in quantum computing. The role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on technical expertise, offering the opportunity to influence technology adoption and operational excellence across the organization. Working in a dynamic and forward-looking environment, your contributions will directly support innovation and long-term business objectives.

Accountabilities:

·        Analyze and assess existing ERP systems to identify integration points for quantum computing technologies.

·        Collaborate with IT and business teams to design, implement, and optimize quantum solutions that improve operational workflows.

·        Monitor system performance and troubleshoot quantum applications to ensure reliability and efficiency.

·        Provide training and guidance to staff on using quantum systems and understanding their impact on business processes.

·        Stay updated on advancements in quantum computing and recommend best practices for implementation.

·        Contribute to strategic planning by identifying opportunities to leverage quantum technologies for competitive advantage.

Requirements

·        Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Management, or a related field; work experience may substitute for education (2 years of experience = 1 year of college).

·        Minimum six years of experience in logistics or supply chain, including at least four years working with quantum technologies.

·        Proven experience with ERP systems and understanding of quantum computing principles.

·        Ability to obtain and maintain a valid security clearance and U.S. passport.

·        Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience evaluating complex systems.

·        Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across teams.

·        Familiarity with programming languages used in quantum computing and database management (Oracle preferred).

·        Preferred: Experience with U.S. Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), USAF/AFSAC, or foreign defense projects.
