Our Technical Services division is seeking a sharp, commercially-minded Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial heartbeat of critical oil & gas facilities and heavy industrial assets. From massive shutdowns to complex brownfield modifications, you will be the commercial anchor ensuring our projects remain viable, profitable, and precise.

Role: Impact Beyond the Spreadsheet
This is not a desk-only job. You will be deeply embedded in the project lifecycle, supporting engineering, planning, and site execution teams. Your responsibilities will include:

- Financial Guardianship:
- Lead cost tracking, reporting, and cash flow forecasting to keep multi-million ringgit projects on track.

- Contractual Precision:
- Administer complex contracts, manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and lead rigorous tender evaluations.

- The "Live Plant" Challenge:
- Navigate the fast-paced commercial realities of shutdowns, turnarounds, and minor CAPEX works within high-stakes, live environments.

- Claim & Variation Mastery:
- Expertly handle Variation Order (VO) submissions, change orders, and contractor claims with a firm but fair hand.

Who You Are
You thrive in environments where "accuracy" is the bare minimum. You understand that in the industrial sector, a minor oversight can have a major impact. Your toolkit includes:

- Industry Pedigree:
- Significant experience within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, or Heavy Industrial sectors.

- Technical Literacy:
- Proficiency in MEP, piping, mechanical, and E&I scopes.

- Battle-Tested:
- Experience navigating the unique commercial pressures of live plant environments and shutdown/turnaround schedules.

- Commercial Sharpness:
- Solid background in contract administration and a meticulous approach to cost control and claims.
