Quantitative Business Analyst

What you will do in this role 🧐

As a (Quantitative) Business Analyst, you work at the heart of Sendcloud’s Business Control team, and we have a strong focus on automation! With your excellent analytical skills and proactive mindset, you will transfer data into business value. The main focus is on the transactional side of our business, and you will deal with topics such as carrier invoice control automation, pricing, advanced analytics, and process improvements. You not only automate the controls but also proactively dig into the data to identify improvements on your own. This is all to drive sustainable growth and create business value.

Your key priorities and responsibilities💗

• Automation of financial processes using Python
• Continuous improvement and professionalisation of Sendcloud’s financial processes, eg implementation of agents to enhance development of code
• Analyse carrier business performance and proactively follow up where necessary
• Perform and execute ad hoc business analysis 
• Help make business and financial decisions

Our perfect match 💗

• Holds a bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Economics, Econometrics, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative study
• Has 0-3 years of relevant working experience
• Experience with programming and/or database querying (Python, SQL)
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving
• You are proactive and pragmatic
• You are a team player who speaks up and takes responsibility with a can-do mentality
• Know your way around databases (e.g. SQL)
• Is fluent in both verbal and written English (living in The Netherlands)
• Gets excited about making an impact on the business
