About the role

We are on the lookout for a driven and passionate Quant Trader with a focus on Systematic Market Making to join our dynamic team at TMGM. In this thrilling position, you will become a vital part of our innovative Trading Operations team. Our core mission is to develop and implement advanced algorithmic strategies tailored for market making across a wide array of asset classes. You'll have the chance to harness your quantitative analysis skills, apply your programming prowess, and tap into extensive market insights to design and enhance a streamlined trading system. This system is essential for boosting market liquidity and optimizing profitability, allowing us to remain agile and competitive in the rapidly evolving trading landscape. Your efforts will be instrumental in influencing our trading strategies and driving our financial success.

Responsibility

• Conduct quantitative research to optimize systematic market-making strategies.
• Develop pricing and hedging models to increase the efficiency of market making.
• Improve core analytics & research tooling, to fast-track strategy ideation, testing and deployment.
• Deliver measurable impact to the firm's profitability, within the risk framework.
• Deploy strategies across a broad range of products, including FX, Precious Metals, Equity Indices, Commodities and Single Stock derivatives.
• Research a diversified range of alpha-based proprietary trading strategies.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a quantitative research role or a quantitative trading capacity, showcasing a strong foundation in the methodologies and techniques utilized in these fields.
• Demonstrated strong academic background in a relevant field such as mathematics, statistics, finance, or computer science, indicating a solid comprehension of core concepts and analytical skills necessary for success.
• Possession of advanced programming skills in Python or a comparable programming language, highlighting the ability to design, implement, and optimize complex algorithms for data analysis and trading strategies.
• A demonstrable interest in fields such as statistical analysis, algorithmic trading, and machine learning, underlining a commitment to staying abreast of industry trends and developing innovative solutions.
• An aptitude for problem-solving combined with a commercial mindset, reflecting the capacity to approach challenges creatively while keeping business objectives and market dynamics in perspective.
