📌 About the Role
We’re looking for a Quality Technician to join our Manufacturing team and help ensure that every product leaving our Assembly department meets the highest standards. This role is critical to maintaining our reputation for excellence and supporting continuous improvement across the production process.
- The pay range for this role is $23/hour - $29/hour, depending on qualifications and experience
- The work schedule for this role is 7:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday, and 7:00am - 11:00am on Friday. Overtime may be required.
🌟 What You’ll Do
As a Quality Technician, you’ll be the guardian of product quality. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Monitoring and reporting supplier quality metrics through our accountability system
Performing daily audits of finished products on the production line
Reviewing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for accuracy
Auditing testing procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards
Investigating recurring quality issues in assembly components
Documenting and processing non-conforming materials, and communicating findings to vendors and internal teams
Managing quarantined inventory to keep non-conforming materials out of production
Coordinating returns of poor-quality parts with purchasing
Conducting incoming inspections of receipted parts against quality orders
Running random audits of fabrication parts to verify standards are met
Maintaining calibration schedules and documentation for inspection tools
Keeping supervisors informed of key developments and collaborating across teams to drive solutions

High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office
Familiarity with data entry and general office administration
Ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, calipers, micrometer, plug gauges)
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate impact on the company
Experience analyzing processes and suggesting improvements
Clear communication skills (written and verbal) with colleagues, suppliers, and customers
Ability to work collaboratively and provide leadership when needed
Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism

💪 Physical Requirements
This role is hands-on and requires:
Frequent lifting of 25–50 lbs; occasional lifting of 50–75 lbs with assistance
Standing for extended periods (up to 10 hours per day)
Regular use of hands, wrists, and arms for handling tools and materials
Occasional walking, reaching, and other physical activity
Vision abilities including close, distant, and adjustable focus
