We are partnering with a rapidly growing consumer products manufacturer that is expanding operations at its 1.8 million square foot facility in Lewistown, PA. This high-speed manufacturing site operates 26 production lines producing feminine hygiene products and baby and adult wipes.

Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead plant-level quality operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Position Overview

The QA Manager will lead and manage the plant Quality Management System (QMS) while overseeing a team of six direct reports. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance, strengthening quality systems, improving performance metrics, and driving sustainable change in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on leadership position requiring strong coaching, mentoring, and change management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and continuously improve the plant Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Oversee internal and external audits
  • Drive Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Lead root cause analysis, CAPA, and corrective action programs
  • Coach, mentor, and develop quality team members
  • Support plant expansion and scaling initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain
  • Champion a culture of accountability, data-driven decision-making, and quality excellence

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of Quality leadership experience in manufacturing
  • Strong background in ISO/QMS systems
  • Six Sigma certification or demonstrated CI leadership
  • Experience in high-speed manufacturing or medical devices preferred
  • Proven experience managing direct reports
  • Track record of driving measurable quality improvements
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
