Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and develop the Quality department in Lithuania. This position plays a key role in driving process improvement, strengthening quality culture, and ensuring product excellence within a complex and technically advanced manufacturing environment. It’s an excellent opportunity for a quality professional who enjoys implementing change and optimizing systems rather than simply maintaining daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the Quality department in Lithuania;
  • Oversee and continuously improve quality processes across production;
  • Implement process validation and ensure preventive measures are in place;
  • Analyze process capability (Cp, Cpk), defect rates (PPM), and cost of poor quality (COPQ);
  • Conduct risk assessments (FMEA, PFMEA) to mitigate quality risks;
  • Participate in new product introduction projects, ensuring quality requirements are met;
  • Manage customer complaints, apply 8D methodology;
  • Coordinate and perform internal and supplier audits; prepare reports and follow up on corrective actions;
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards (and ISO 22000 where applicable), as well as relevant quality legislation;
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams;
  • Support LEAN initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team;
  • Ensure proper documentation and traceability of products and processes.

Requirements

  • A university degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent) in Engineering, Technology, Quality Management, or a related field;
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Quality Manager in a manufacturing environment;
  • Strong understanding of Quality Assurance and Quality Control principles;
  • Hands-on experience with root cause analysis, risk assessment, 8D methodology;
  • Solid command of MS Excel and general data handling skills;
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English;
  • Proven leadership and team management skills;
  • A proactive mindset, focused on improvement and practical implementation.

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), other quality management systems;
  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Critical Control Points (CCP) for contact products.
