Quality Engineer

About the Role 

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join the QA team within Product Engineering at K1x. As a Quality Engineer, you will embed quality deeply into the software development lifecycle by partnering closely with engineers, product managers, and data teams. 
 
You will use AI to help design and execute testing strategies, build and maintain automated test suites, and advocate for quality-first engineering practices across the organization. 

Requirements

What You’ll Do 

• Review product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure clarity and testability. 

• Use AI where possible in test case creation and test automation.  

• Design, develop, and maintain test cases and automated test suites. 

• Execute manual functional, regression and end-to-end testing. 

• Partner with engineers to embed quality into development workflows. 

• Identify and communicate quality risks early. 

• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and tooling. 

• Test Data Quality through our system from UI to XML.

Who You Are 

• 5–10+ years of experience in software testing or quality engineering. 

• Experience with test automation frameworks. 

• Experience testing APIs and web services. 

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and CI/CD pipelines. 

• Strong communication and collaboration skills. 

• Have experience using AI to help in Quality Engineering activities.
