Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Automation Engineer to join one of our largest healthcare clients. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated testing solutions to ensure software quality across complex applications and cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with modern automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and strong analytical skills to troubleshoot and optimize testing frameworks.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for UI and API testing;
• Enhance and maintain scalable automation frameworks using modern testing tools;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements and ensure comprehensive coverage;
• Participate in CI/CD pipeline setup and integration for continuous testing;
• Analyze, debug, and report issues effectively with attention to detail and precision;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and tools;
• Stay current with emerging testing trends, tools, and technologies.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript;
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or Cypress;
• Strong understanding of API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI;
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps;
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git or SVN);
• Familiarity with collaboration and tracking tools (Jira, Trello, Azure Boards);
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment;
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Highly Desirable Skills

• Expertise in building and maintaining test automation frameworks using TestNG, JUnit, or NUnit;
• Understanding of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber or SpecFlow;
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and automation in cloud environments;
• Familiarity with virtualization and containerization tools such as VMware or Docker.
