The Team

We are the eCommerce business unit and our goal is to enable merchants to grow their businesses. As Lightspeed grows, we are bringing and integrating the Lightspeed ecosystem including payments, shipping, and other services to help our merchants build the most unique experience for their customers.

What you’ll be doing:

• Design, review, maintain and execute manual & cross-browser tests
• Document test plans and procedures, keep up to date QA’s knowledge base
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to identify, document and resolve feature defects
• Lead and participate in the release testing efforts for the custom feature deployment
• Check if the new functionality we code matches the requested specifications. In other words, make sure that what we produce is what our client wants
• Raise the bar and elevate your team by sharing knowledge and best practices, while always seeking improvement and progress

What you need to bring:

• Previous experience in functional and integration testing
• Proven track record of excellent judgment in test planning, issue escalation, and release decisions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and ideally Russian
• Developer tools — it's nice to have or quickly learn before the interview (Elements, Console, Network, Application)
• Experience with the following will be very useful: JavaScript, Bash, Git, grep, SQL, Curl, CSS, HTML, terminal
