We are looking for QA Lead, who will be the key member to manage and drive QA excellence in the scrum teams. Having insights of the QAs in the scrum teams and the delivering the product from discovery to launch.
- Work closely with other QAs, engineers, analyst and product owners to identify testing areas across the deliverables.
- Oversee the creation and execution of test plans and testing strategy for the scrum teams.
- Liaise with Engineering managers and leads for overall end-to-end testing plan and ensure quality releases from Non-Prod environments to Production.
- Lead the automation testing efforts and liaise with other QA leads to ensure any developed QA frameworks are reusable across similar technologies.
- Evangelize the QA practice and the QA professionals in the HUB
- Communicate status, risks and issues to senior management and team members
- Drive QA process and standards changes to benefit high-performing teams.
- Recruiting, training and coaching QA engineers.
- People management and development planning of up to 10 QA engineers.
- Build quality culture for both QA team and feature product team
- Be accountable for industry testing, collaborating with QA team in local bank and 3rd party to make sure features are delivered with quality
Requirements
- At least 2 years in a lead role for QA / Testing on a major project.
- 5-7 year’s experience in software Testing (API, Web, Mobile Testing, …), preferably in finance/banking/lending domains.
- Experience in Digital domain (preferably in lending/banking) and QA process in an Agile or Scrum delivery.
- Strong knowledge of multiple automated test tools (Selenium, Appium, …) and software development life cycles.
- Good working knowledge of test management software, QA methodologies, Agile testing.
- Excellent organizational skills ability to concurrently inspire and direct QA practices and process across multiple delivery teams.
- Experience with programming language such as Python, Java etc. and working with QAs in other countries from different culture background will be an advantage.
- Basic background about performance testing.
- Experience in Micro-service testing is preferred.
- Able to communicate English well (writing, reading, speaking and listening).
- Experience with exploratory testing and behavior driven design.
