This role ensures that raw materials, processes, and finished products meet established quality requirements, while managing sustainability and religious certifications (e.g., Halal, Kosher). Responsibilities include coordinating audits with certifying bodies and religious authorities (such as rabbis), guaranteeing adherence to international norms and customer expectations. What will you do:
  • Perform data entry and maintain information on certification platforms.
  • Collaborate in the creation and updating of product data sheets and documents.
  • Prepare and coordinate audits from clients, certifying bodies, and religious authorities (e.g., rabbis for Kosher certification).
  • Manage documentation related to sustainability aspects and certifications (e.g., Rainforest Alliance, other sustainable standards).
  • Requisitions:
  • Education: degree in Food Science and Technology or Sustainability.
  • Professional Skills: Knowledge of the main food and sustainability certfications
  • Experiences Not required 
  • Language Skills: English & Italian proficiency 
  • Computer Skills: MS Office (mainly Excel)
  • Behavioural requirements: Excellent analytical skills, Good communication and relationship skills, Analytical and time optimization capabilities. Ability to work in a dynamic context.
  • Other Details:
  • Location: Gallarate (VA).
  • Working hours: Full time, 40h/week, from Monday to Friday. You can start your day between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m., enjoy a lunch break of 1 to 1.5 hours anytime between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m., and wrap up your workday starting from 5:00 pm while completing a full 8-hour workday.
  • This is a fully desk-based role focused on documentation and quality assurance, with no laboratory activities involved.
  • Internship contract with expense reimbursement and meal vouchers worth €8 per day.
