Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our applications across multiple projects. This role involves planning and executing tests, identifying defects, driving continuous improvement in testing processes, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and continuously improve test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test reports across multiple projects.
  • Document formal test plans and execute test cases to ensure business and functional requirements are met.
  • Identify application inconsistencies, bugs, and defects, and communicate findings through appropriate channels.
  • Log defects, track resolutions, and perform re-testing and validation after fixes are implemented.
  • Assess application functionality, performance, reliability, and stability, and present regular status reports to management.
  • Follow up on and validate corrective, containment, and preventive actions to ensure long-term quality improvements.
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits in accordance with ISO requirements.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure test coverage aligns with user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Provide QA input during backlog grooming to help refine user stories and define clear, testable acceptance criteria.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 1–3 years of relevant working experience in software testing or quality assurance.
  • Knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and fundamental testing methodologies.
  • Familiarity with QA automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium and TestNG.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or NeoLoad, and understanding of CI/CD concepts (highly preferred).
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Ability to create and validate test cases based on user stories, acceptance criteria, and iterative releases.
  • Understanding of Agile testing principles such as shift-left testing, continuous testing, and iterative validation
  • Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues and recommendations.
