NetBrain is looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to work on a variety of automation-related projects for our unparalleled network automation platform, powered by agentic-AI. We need a detail-oriented and logical programmer who loves to be part of a team and is comfortable collaborating across multiple areas of the organization. What You'll Do
- Provide guidance and support to junior QA engineers and share best practices.
- Develop detailed test plans and test strategies from requirements and specifications.
- Design comprehensive test cases and scenarios covering functional and non-functional requirements.
- Execute manual and automated tests across functional, regression, performance, usability, and security areas.
- Identify, document, track, and help resolve software defects with development teams.
- Collect and analyze quality metrics and prepare test reports for stakeholders.
- Participate in design and code reviews from a QA perspective.
- Evaluate and recommend QA tools and technologies.
- Maintain QA environments, tools, and test data.
- Assess release risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Ensure software meets internal standards, regulatory expectations, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain automated scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Act as a liaison between customers and the development team on quality concerns.
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned.
What You Are
- Bachelor’s degree with typically 5+ years of related experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years, or equivalent work experience.
- Cloud experience, preferably AWS.
- Large-scale software testing experience, including databases such as MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
- Performance testing experience.
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
- Experience with automation tools such as Jenkins and Selenium.
- Knowledge of network monitoring tools.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
Nice to have Skills
- Networking or cloud certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, or JNCIP.
- Hands-on ITSM data analysis for automation opportunities.
- Experience with customer-facing content such as knowledge base articles or training videos.
- Ability to deliver in-person or virtual product training.
- Mentoring or coaching experience with junior QA team members.
