Quality Assurance Engineer (KR)

As a test specialist and quality assurance engineer, you will lead the testing and quality assessment of several AI software products at Gauss Labs. As a proven QA/Test Engineer, you will solve challenging problems in a fast-changing product and startup environment. You will work with cross-engineering teams, including software engineers and data scientists, in an agile, flexible, and collaborative manner to contribute to developing innovative AI products. You will build a fast and stable product release cycle in a DevOps environment, analyze new concept products to establish test strategies, and devise practical test plans. You will ensure reliable test coverage to provide reliable reports to your team and customers. Testing activities according to software characteristics and test plan such as creating test cases, building test suites, execute planned tests

Leverage the automation framework to design, create, and maintain an automated regression test suite

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in QA and testing, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve testing processes

Collaborate and influence cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and project managers, to understand software quality requirements and design effective test strategies

Attend grooming and planning meetings for all teams as part of the development team

Ensure work is consistently high quality and incorporates best practices

Basic Qualifications

2 to 5 years of experience as quality assurance or test engineers.

Experience performing application functionality or web/app service testing on a sprint or milestone basis

Basic understanding of development languages such as Python and Javascript

Experience performing QA/Testing tasks in a DevOps or Agile environment

Basic knowledge of software engineering (SDLC), software testing, and QA

Preferred Qualifications

Experience developing or maintaining test cases in a development language such as Python or Javascript or automation framework

Experience configuring or improving a DevOps/TestOps environment

Interest in or work experience with automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, or the Robot framework

Experience learning software testing knowledge systems such as CSTS and ISTQB

Business-level English and Korean proficiency or experience working in an international company
