Quality Assurance Co-Op

The Quality Assurance Co-Op will play a vital role in enhancing the Quality Management System at Vicarious Surgical. This role offers an opportunity for hands-on experience and professional growth in quality assurance, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation integrity, streamline inspection processes, and support continuous improvement efforts across the organization. To be considered, you must be available for 6 months and be local to Waltham, MA.

This position will perform various tasks to support projects as well as other duties in support of the Quality System, Document Control, Manufacturing, Inspections, and the R&D/Product Development departments. This is an onsite position with some flexibility to be hybrid.

Vicarious Surgical is a next generation robotics company developing a disruptive technology with the goal of increasing the efficiency of surgical procedure, improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support document control with processing data records
• Design, develop, and release templates for product development testing, manufacturing, and inspections.
• Conducts basic product testing including final inspections.
• Assist in the maintenance of Quality Management System.
• Assist in the planning activities and execute test plans on various software module validations.
• Coordinate integration activities of various business-related software.

About You

• Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate program preferably in Engineering or Regulatory
• Competent with use of Google workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to quickly learn business related software including NetSuite, MasterControl, etc.
• Well-organized with a right first-time approach
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to write simple reports and business correspondence.
