Job Summary
PeerIslands is looking for experienced QA Automation Engineers to join our delivery teams on a contract basis. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in automation testing using Playwright, with the ability to work independently within a POD-based delivery model. Each QA will be responsible for a single POD and will closely collaborate with stakeholders and business analysts to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Playwright.
- Perform end-to-end testing including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Work as an Individual Contributor, owning QA activities for a single POD.
- Collaborate closely with Stakeholders and Business Analysts (BA) to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Identify, document, and track defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
- Ensure adherence to QA best practices, processes, and quality standards.
- Be proactive in adapting to new tools, technologies, and processes as required by the project.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3 to 8 years of overall experience in Quality Assurance / Software Testing.
- Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Playwright (mandatory).
- Good understanding of test design techniques and automation frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Open mindset to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
Good to Have
- Exposure to Adobe Illustrator (added bonus).
- Experience working in POD-based or product-centric delivery models.
Additional Information
- This is a contract role with onboarding planned in February.
- Only one QA will be aligned per POD, requiring strong ownership and accountability.
