Join a dedicated team enhancing user experience through mostly manual testing of web applications, while collaborating with developers and adhering to agile processes.

You will be testing our web application based on user stories and performing exploratory testing depend on your extensive testing knowledge. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches, translate user stories into test cases and automate them. You should also have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. The position involves mostly manual testing (100%) with no automation expected.

Our Daily Work:  

  • We follow Scrum with iterating Sprints, Grooming & Sprint planning sessions, Code Freeze after sprint and retrospective meetings  
  • We use teams to communicate and or participate in meetings with other team members  
  • We use docker and docker compose for local running of all microservices  
  • We use postman and swagger for API testing  
  • We write test cases using testrail  
  • We comper fronted development with designs perper in Figma by UX team  
  • We use our QA Toolbox to run automation tests and seed data for manual testing  
  • Experience working in a technical environment  
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of QA methodology  
  • Experience troubleshooting and identifying bugs  
  • Experience working closely with development teams to communicate issues and requirements  
  • Experience with development and testing support  
  • Thorough attention to detail and double-checking work  
  • Well-organized documentation of solutions for reference and handover to other teams  
  • Communication: Takes the initiative through clear written and verbal communication with team members in working towards project completion and issue resolution  
  • Personal effectiveness: Produces outstanding results both personally and professionally by being proactive, committed, and resourceful  
  • Analytical problem solving: Able to make creative use of available resources to logically deduce the causes behind defective behavior and identify the solution  
  • Technical competence: Uses technical job knowledge and experience, incorporating functional skills and broad-based business knowledge, to learn workflows and requirements of different software solutions and testing methods  

We are looking for candidates based in the Silesia region (office in Katowice), with a requirement to be present in the office at least 4 times a month. Fully remote work is not an option, and unfortunately, applications from more distant locations will not be considered in the recruitment process.
