PROJECT DETAILS

Transmission Line (TL) – 765 kV, 250 km (3 EPC Packages)

• 765 kV Double Circuit (D/C) Transmission Line of 250 km.

• Route: Kutch 765/400 kV Z2-MPSS to 765/400 kV Load Pooling Substation (LPSS).

• Executed through 3 EPC contractors.

• QA/QC scope includes verification of civil foundations, tower erection, stringing, insulator fixing, conductor sagging, and all electrical interfaces.

• Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and statutory requirements.

Substation (SS) – SPS#3 & SPS#3 Mobile – 400 kV Mobile Substation at Z2-SPSS-1, Kutch

• QA/QC for civil and electrical works, including foundations, transformer installations, GIS/AIS bays, cabling, and equipment erection.

• Ensure adherence to specifications, drawings, and quality control processes.

• Coordination with site teams, contractors, and PMC management to resolve QA/QC issues.

Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and verify quality of civil, electrical, and mechanical works.

• Conduct inspections, tests, and checks as per project QA/QC procedures.

• Prepare QA/QC reports, NCRs, and inspection documentation.

• Ensure compliance with BOQ, drawings, specifications, and statutory standards.

• Coordinate with EPC contractors, site engineers, and PMC teams for quality assurance.

• Support audits, inspections, and final acceptance procedures.

• QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Education: BE / Diploma in Civil or Electrical Engineering

• Experience: 8–12 years in QA/QC for Transmission Line or Substation projects

• Experience in 400 kV / 765 kV projects preferred
