QA/QC Engineer – Overhead Transmission Lines (OHTL) & Substation Projects

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil / Electrical / Mechanical)

• ISO 9001:2015 Certification (Internal Auditor – Preferred)

• 5 to 10 years of proven experience in QA/QC roles

• Hands-on experience in Execution of Overhead Transmission Lines (220kV / 400kV / 765kV) or Substation Projects

• Valid passport with at least 9 months of validity

• Strong communication skills in English (both spoken and written)

Requirements

Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Implement and monitor QA/QC systems, procedures, and plans at the project site

·         Carry out QA/QC activities during execution of OHTL or Substation works including foundation, tower erection, and stringing

·         Conduct inspections of incoming materials and on-site activities to ensure compliance with technical specifications and project requirements

·         Coordinate with clients and consultants on all quality-related matters

·         Prepare and maintain all QA/QC documentation such as ITPs, checklists, method statements, NCRs, and quality reports

·         Oversee and verify material testing; review and approve related test reports

·         Lead internal quality audits and ensure timely updates of all QA/QC records

·         Identify, report, and assist in the resolution of non-conformances in collaboration with site teams

·         Support the construction team in implementing and maintaining project quality and safety standards
