Role Overview:
Seeking a detail-oriented Manual Test Engineer + Performance responsible for ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of web applications. The role involves creating and executing comprehensive test cases, identifying defects, supporting development teams, and contributing to performance testing using JMeter.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and UI testing for web applications.
Execute manual test cases and accurately log defects with clear reproduction steps.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, refinement, and retrospectives.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Conduct performance and load testing using Apache JMeter.
Prepare and execute JMeter test scripts for various load conditions and analyze response times, throughput, and performance bottlenecks.
Provide detailed test execution reports, bug metrics, and performance test summaries.
Ensure test deliverables meet high-quality standards and deadlines.
Work with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in QA processes.

Must-Have Skills
Strong manual testing experience (web and/or mobile).
Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
Hands-on experience writing detailed test cases and executing them.
Ability to identify edge cases and think from an end-user perspective.
Good communication and documentation skills.

Should-Have Skills (Good to have / Added advantage)

JMeter – basic understanding of performance testing or ability to create simple load test scripts.
Burp Suite / Burp Scan – understanding of basic security testing concepts, scanning, and identifying common vulnerabilities.

Knowledge of API testing (Postman), SQL queries, or automation fundamentals is a plus.
