QA Manager

At System C, we build technology that connects and transforms health and care outcomes for millions. We’re growing fast and we’re looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to evolve our QA strategy and build a high-performing Test Centre of Excellence across our Social Care & Education portfolio.

What you’ll do

• Lead, coach and develop Test Leads, Engineers and Automation specialists - fostering a “quality-first” culture.
• Own our QA strategy across the SDLC, enhancing processes to ISO 9001 standards and championing best practice.
• Define clear objectives and KPIs; track test progress, quality and cost; drive continuous improvement and ROI.
• Deliver a scalable approach to functional, automation and non-functional testing (performance, reliability, cloud-readiness).
• Collaborate across product, engineering and compliance to ship high-quality software on time and to budget.
• Use data - defect trends, RCA, coverage - to prevent recurrence and improve outcomes for users in local government services.

About you

• Senior QA leader with strong people management experience and a track record in both Agile and waterfall delivery.
• Hands-on knowledge of tooling (e.g. Jira/Xray, Jenkins, Selenium, Katalon, Postman/SoapUI) and building automation & performance frameworks.
• Confident influencing across levels and suppliers, aligning teams to common goals in fast-changing environments.
• Experience in, or exposure to, the local government domain is advantageous.
