QA Engineer (Trading Project)

We are seeking a Manual QA Engineer to join our Trading project team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability by overseeing all aspects of testing. This includes creating test strategies and documentation, identifying and reporting defects, and continuously developing your professional skills.

Project Domain: Trending market – a mobile and web application–based platform designed for self-directed traders.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements and design comprehensive test documentation.
• Collaborate closely with the development team to fully understand application functionality and requirements.
• Define, execute, and maintain test cases, clearly documenting and reporting issues found.
• Perform functional and non-functional testing for web and mobile, including UI testing and API/web services testing.
• Work extensively with databases to validate data integrity and application behavior.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on QA experience.
• Solid understanding of different testing types and methodologies.
• Proven experience in API testing.
• At least 1 year of experience in mobile application testing.
• At least 1 year of experience in web application testing.
• Strong knowledge of SQL.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Charles, Postman, DevTools, etc.
• Strong analytical and mathematical mindset.
  
• Excellent communication skills.
• English level fluency: B1++

Nice to Have

• Experience working in large teams.
• Background in Trading or FinTech projects.
• Knowledge of automation testing concepts and tools.
