QA Engineer

As a QA engineer, you will be testing one of our native mobile applications which is in continuous development. You will be completely responsible for all QA activities such as planning for new features, writing and updating test cases, debugging customer issues, investigating technical logs, and approving features to move to production. You could communicate directly to our client in critical testing phases, to receive and solve post production incidents, and to define future QA strategies. This is a fast paced project following scrum methodology, so you will need to apply smart prioritization and time management approaches in your everyday work.

When you join us, your main focus will be:

• Manual testing a native mobile application
• Writing bugs reports in Jira to project managers, designers, developers, and client
• Planning and writing test cases, proactively before testing activities start
• Regular  regression and smoke testing , with the help of our automated test cases
• Receiving bug tickets from either clients and colleagues, reproducing behavior and internally coordinating for resolution
• Realigning QA timeline and adjusting your own testing schedule when delays in development
• Participating in project kickoffs and syncs to constantly be informed of project status’s
• Planning and scheduling test phases, keeping everyone aware of the current QA status
• Ensuring quality standards are met or exceeded for all projects
• Adhering to project schedules and proactively report progress to meet challenging deadlines

You belong with us if you have:

• 2+ years of testing or or general software industry experience
• Good understanding of Android and iOS native systems
• Strong ability to apply time management and organizational skills
• Open attitude when sprint planning goals aren't achieved in time or unexpected blockers come in
• Love for investigation, details, and defect-finding
• Independent and self starting way of working
• Clear and honest communication skills
