QA Engineer

MSPbots is looking for an experienced QA Engineer to help elevate our products through world-class testing strategies and automation. You’ll help shape the future of QA at a fast-growing SaaS company by driving best practices, building robust test frameworks, and collaborating with talented Data Analysts, Engineers, and PMs.

Location: Remote (Philippine-based only)
Schedule: Semi-flexible | 4 AM-1 PM CDT (5 PM-2 AM PHT), Fixed Rest Days: Saturday-Sunday

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement comprehensive test strategies. 
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts (UI, API, regression, performance). 
• Lead QA efforts for critical features and releases. 
• Perform root cause analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
• Drive improvements in testing processes and automation. 
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, grooming, and retrospectives). 
• Develop internal QA tools and maintain reusable test assets. 
• Promote QA best practices across teams. 

Required Technical Skills

• 5-8 years in QA, Software Testing, or related fields
• Expert in different testing types (unit, integration, system, performance, API etc.)
• Skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation
• Experience using tools like Postman, JMeter, Fiddler
• Knowledge of backend frameworks (SpringBoot, Redis, MQ, etc.)
• Familiar with microservices, REST APIs, databases, and CI/CD
• Highly data-sensitive: you know how to analyze performance metrics and optimize testing based on data insights

Required Soft Skills

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ownership mindset with the drive to proactively solve problems
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• Ability to mentor junior QA members
• Agile/Scrum experience with cross-functional teams
