The Macro Middle Office Trade Processing and Position Team is responsible for the development, maintenance, and automation of the systems that process trade executions into position keeping systems. The systems support a wide range of financial products and asset classes including equities, fixed income, foreign exchange, and credit. The team is global with personnel and service providers located throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.

What you’ll do

• Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, including manual and automated tests for functional, regression, and integration testing
• Create and execute automated and manual test cases to ensure optimal system performance according to specifications
• Work closely with software development and support teams to deliver high-quality applications in a timely manner
• Build consensus between stakeholders and developers to define clear and testable acceptance criteria
• Document QA and process flows, both existing and proposed
• Advocate for best quality assurance practices and testing techniques
• Ensure any new software changes meet business, legal, compliance, and technical requirements
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for various applications in trading domains
• Maintain and track QA capacity, velocity, statuses, and deliverables with the team lead

What’s required

• 5+ years of experience in quality assurance with test automation, software engineering or business analysis roles
• Extensive experience with portfolio management systems such as Murex and/or Orchestrade
• Solid understanding of position management for listed and OTC products
• Comprehensive expertise in capturing and processing trades, managing trading and lifecycle events, handling corporate actions, calculating positions and PnL, and managing cash flows
• Broad expertise in trade capture, trade processing, trading and lifecycle events, corporate actions processing, position and PnL calculations, and cash management
• Development experience with Java, JavaScript, C#, or Python programming languages
• Efficiency in creating and fluency in writing SQL queries and working with databases
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
