The Mission

Empower Smartnews’ QA processes with AI-driven automation to accelerate testing, reduce manual effort, and ensure a seamless user experience.

Your responsibilities:

  • Develop AI-powered QA tools to improve automation, test generation, and defect detection
  • Collaborate with QA, engineering, and product teams to identify AI-driven opportunities for quality improvements
  • Leverage AI driven test frameworks that integrates with existing CI/CD pipelines
  • Monitor and improve AI models to ensure reliability and effectiveness in QA applications

Requirements

Minimum requirements

  • BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field (Physics, Mathematics, etc.) or 3+ years experience (open to multiple levels)
    • Recent graduates that can start full-time from April 2025 at the latest are welcome to apply.
  • Proficient in Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing, particularly with LLMs
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar
  • Proficient in programming language like Typescript, Python, or similar
  • Understanding of QA, software testing and automation methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have skills/experiences

  • Experience in AI-powered test automation
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering and fine-tuning LLMs for QA purposes
  • Understands Agile, SDLC and modern CI/CD best practices
