The QA Engineer II plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Conversational AI solutions within the Amelia Enterprise Conversational AI Engineering team. This position focuses on manual and automated testing of AI-driven applications, collaborating closely with developers, product teams, and other QA engineers to deliver high-quality software.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in software testing methodologies, experience with test case design and execution, and familiarity with automation frameworks. This role is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who are eager to learn, contribute to test automation, and help drive continuous improvements in software quality.

In this role, you will:

• Create, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases to ensure product quality.
• Perform thorough UI, API, and integration testing to identify defects and ensure software stability.
• Contribute to test automation efforts, assisting in the creation and maintenance of automation scripts.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and senior QA engineers to ensure test coverage aligns with product requirements.
• Log detailed defect reports and work with engineering teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Assist in load and performance testing using tools such as JMeter.
• Maintain clear and detailed test plans, test cases, and test reports to track progress and coverage.
• Participate in Agile development cycles, contributing to continuous testing and process improvements.

We would love to hear from you if:

• You have 3+ years of experience in software/product quality assurance.
• You have experience with manual testing and test case design.
• You have basic exposure to test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent.
• You have familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman or equivalent.
• You have understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycles (SDLC).
• You have strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• You have excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• You have exposure to test automation using JavaScript or Java.
• You have experience with performance/load testing tools like JMeter.
• You have understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• You have familiarity with Conversational AI platforms and NLP testing.
• You have eager to learn and grow in the field of QA and test automation.
• You have strong collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a global team environment.
• You have ability to adapt to fast-paced development cycles and evolving requirements.
