QA Engineer (Contract 6 months)

We are looking for a results-driven Quality Assurance Engineer to be responsible for designing and running tests on software usability. The Quality Assurance Engineer will conduct tests, analyze the results, and report observations to the design team. You may also interact with clients in order to understand the requirements of the product.

To be successful as a Quality Assurance Engineer you should have a working knowledge of software and test design, the capability to run through tests, and the ability to analyze the results. Ultimately, the Quality Assurance Engineer should be result-driven, have good communication skills, and up-to-date knowledge of software programming and software test design.

Responsibilities

• Meet with system users to understand the scope of projects
• Experience with automation tools such as Cypress
• Work with software developers and project support teams
• Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios
• Execute tests on software usability manual and automated tests
• Test in different environments including web and mobile
• Analyze test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability
• Prepare reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team
• Interact with clients to understand product requirements
• Monitor applications and software systems
• Carry out stress testing, performance testing, functional testing and scalability testing
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of designers, developers, and Business team

Requirements

• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
• Knowledge of automated testing tools (Cypress)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to ensure that projects are completed successfully
• The ability to understand the specific requirements
• Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios
• Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the design team
• Interacting with clients to understand product requirements
• Good at English both oral and written is a must
• Desire to learn new skills and concepts and a positive attitude
