Position Overview:

Brandlive is seeking a talented QA Engineer to join our team. Reporting directly to the Lead QA Engineer, this new QA Engineer will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing software reporting issues, collaborating cross functionally with Developers, Product Owners and Designers to maintain high quality standards when delivering production level software.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with developers to understand feature requirements and develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Collaborate with other QA team members, Developers, Product Owners, and Designers to ensure high quality outcomes from design/planning phase all the way to production.
• Identify and report defects, track issues to resolution, and verify fixes.
• Mentor and provide guidance to other QA engineers, including overseeing their work and providing feedback on testing methodologies and practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in QA automation and testing tools.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Verbal and written fluency in professional business communication required in English
• Experience of test management using JIRA, Zephyr and Confluence
• Experience with development build and deployment (CI/CD) environments, Github preferred.
• Ideal Candidates will also have experience with the following:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Integration test automation experience in NodeJS
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools, such as Playwright, Puppeteer, Postman, and Artillery.
  • Experience with automated testing of REST APIs.
  • TypeScript experience
