ABOUT YOUR ROLE
Be responsible for maintaining and improving our quality management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, and driving continuous improvement in all manufacturing processes.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Maintain and audit the company's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and other customer-specific requirements.
Lead and participate in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes using tools such as 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone Diagrams.
Plan, execute, and document various quality inspections, including incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve complex quality issues and implement process improvements.
Conduct and review Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA).
Support new product introduction (NPI) and process validation activities.
Prepare and maintain quality-related documentation, including control plans, inspection standards, and test procedures.
Monitor and report key quality metrics (e.g., PPM, scrap rate, customer complaints) to management.
Process Collaboration & Problem Solving, work closely with process engineering teams to analyze quality fluctuations in production processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 1-3 years of proven experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive or electronics industry.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and quality tools (FMEA, MSA, SPC, APQP, PPAP).
Proficiency in using statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt certification.
Experience with ERP/MES systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
