Abhout the role

We are looking for an Automation Engineer to support the design, development, and execution of automation solutions that enhance efficiency and quality in our applications and infrastructure.
This is an entry-level role for professionals with foundational skills in scripting, automation tools, and CI/CD concepts. You will work closely with senior engineers and leads, contributing to automation projects, maintaining scripts, and ensuring solutions meet standards and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute basic automation scripts and workflows under guidance from senior engineers.

• Assist in the maintenance and improvement of existing automation solutions.

• Support the integration of automation into CI/CD pipelines.

• Participate in testing and validation of automated solutions.

• Document scripts, processes, and configurations.

• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and engineering teams to align automation with project needs.

• Troubleshoot basic issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers.

• Learn and apply automation best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience: 1–3 years in automation engineering, scripting, or software development.

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodology.

• Exposure to automation tools and CI/CD concepts.

Technical Skills:

• Basic scripting knowledge (Python).

• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

• Awareness of Infrastructure as Code concepts (Terraform, Ansible)is a plus.

• Knowledge of version control systems (Git).

• Understanding of cloud basics (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

• Troubleshooting and debugging skills.
