About the Job

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will develop and execute automated test scripts using the Playwright framework, ensuring seamless functionality for web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement effective test automation strategies, while maintaining and enhancing existing test suites in alignment with application updates.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright framework
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement test automation strategies
  • Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites to ensure they align with application updates
  • Identify, record, and track software defects, and verify fixes through re-testing.
  • Perform end-to-end testing for various web applications to ensure seamless user experience
  • Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide feedback to the team
  • Integrate manual test paths using API scripts into software UI for process automation
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in test automation
  • Work with other software engineers to optimize automation development improvement and its functionality
  • Due to this role’s involvement working on FedRAMP compliance requirements, qualified candidates must be a “U.S. Person”

Requirements

  • 3+ years of programming experience with Java, Javascript and Python
  • Strong problem solver with focus on code design, quality and architecture
  • Create and manage end-to-end automated test cases using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar frameworks
  • Working knowledge of software development methodologies and tools including experience with automated build systems, version and project control and issue tracking systems
  • Experience with Cross Browser Testing Like: Chrome, Firefox, and Safari
  • Experience with Browser Extension is a plus
  • Familiarity with relational databases (SQL server, MySQL, etc.)
  • Experience with other testing frameworks or tools (e.g., Cypress, Jest) is a plus
