Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about building scalable, reliable automated testing frameworks from the ground up. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning automation strategy, writing clean and maintainable test code, and partnering closely with engineering teams to improve overall product quality.

You’ll play a key role in automating test cases across web applications and backend services while helping establish best practices for quality and release confidence.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Playwright
  • Build and enhance automation frameworks using Python
  • Validate backend integrations and data integrity (Postgres)
  • Test cloud-based systems running in AWS environments
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Manage test cases, execution, and reporting within Qmetry
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps to ensure high-quality releases
  • Identify gaps in current testing strategy and proactively improve coverage

 Some Must-Haves:

  • 4+ years of experience in QA, with strong focus on Automation
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright for UI automation
  • Proficiency in Python for writing automated test scripts
  • Experience validating APIs and working with relational databases (Postgres)
  • Familiarity with AWS environments and cloud-based applications
  • Experience using test management tools such as Qmetry
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team

Other Information

The work hours will be approximately 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, depending on workload, with the occasional late night when a tight deadline calls for it. We work for security-conscious clients, thus background checks will be required.
