QA Automation Engineer (Cypress & Appium)

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress and Appium
• Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and create effective test strategies
• Identify automation opportunities and implement solutions for web and mobile testing
• Conduct regression testing to ensure software releases meet quality standards
• Document testing processes, results, and defects
• Continuously improve the test automation framework and testing processes
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging testing tools

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer, with a strong focus on Cypress and Appium
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
• Experience with JavaScript and developing test scripts for web applications
• Familiarity with mobile automation testing and frameworks
• Ability to analyze complex software systems and troubleshoot issues
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality assurance
• Experience working in Agile environments is a plus
• Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) practices is a plus
