QA Automation Engineer

 We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about quality, automation, and modern engineering practices. This role requires strong technical expertise in automated testing, API validation, and QA methodologies, combined with hands-on experience using AI tools or building solutions that enhance testing efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. 

You are detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work across teams to ensure consistent, stable, and high-performing software releases. You stay current with emerging technologies—including advancements in automation and AI—and enjoy applying them to real engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks for backend services, APIs, and UI workflows. 

• Use or create AI-powered tools to improve the QA lifecycle (e.g., automated test generation, log-anomaly detection, AI-assisted debugging, intelligent regression selection). 
• Participate in planning discussions and contribute QA and automation insights early in the development process. 
• Execute manual and automated regression testing for scheduled release cycles. 
• Ensure test coverage, reliability, and performance across multiple systems and environments. 
• Review product features to identify edge cases, automation opportunities, and risks. 
• Collaborate with engineering teams (local and offshore) to define quality standards and maintain test execution pipelines. 
• Troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and support engineering teams in resolving defects efficiently.

• 8+ years of QA Engineering experience, including strong hands-on automation. 
• 2–3+ years of experience in backend and API testing workflows. 
• Proficiency with automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, or similar. 
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test architecture, and CI/CD integration. 
• Curiosity and willingness to leverage AI-driven tools and techniques to enhance QA automation, validation, and overall software quality. 
• Experience with browser dev tools, API tools, and automated UI testing. 
• Ability to design complex test data using Excel or Google Sheets. 
• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence. 
• Highly detail-oriented with strong communication and analytical skills. 
• Ability to work collaboratively across distributed engineering teams. 
• Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced engineering environments. 
• Knowledge of digital media or ad-tech is a plus.
