Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned QA Architect to lead the design and implementation of comprehensive test automation strategies. This role involves maintaining scalable test automation frameworks, executing testing strategies, and ensuring robust integration of automated testing into the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders, possess strong programming skills, and adapt to agile methodologies.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive Test Automation strategies, ensuring robust testing frameworks and methodologies with existing toolsets, as well as researching, evaluating, and deploying new test tools.
- Develop and maintain scalable and reusable test automation frameworks that align with project requirements and best practices.
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of automation frameworks, test cases, processes, and results to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
- Define and implement QA strategies, methodologies, and best practices for manual and automated testing.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, development teams, QA engineers, and product managers to integrate automated testing into the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Requirement and Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Strong programming skills in languages commonly used for test automation (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Proficiency with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, Rest Assured, WebdriverIO, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit, Mocha.
- Extensive experience creating test frameworks for large-scale distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with agile testing methodologies and the ability to adapt testing strategies to agile development environments.
- Demonstrated experience in testing cloud-hosted applications, especially SaaS models, with a strong understanding of scalability, security, and performance challenges.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking systems.
- Familiarity with quality engineering principles, including shift-left testing, continuous testing, and in-sprint test automation.
- Experience in performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber and API testing techniques and tools.
- Experience in relational databases, such as Oracle/SQL Server, and NoSQL databases, such as Couchbase/Neo4J.
- Ability to implement continuous integration and build automation systems, such as Jenkins, Bamboo, Octopus, etc.
- Stay updated with the latest QA tools, technologies, and trends to recommend improvements.
