Every hire must demonstrate at least Level 1. The expected level will vary depending on the seniority of the role.
Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and execute QA test plans that improve quality by design;
Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance processes and procedures;
Test software products to ensure they meet quality standards;
Identify defects and track issues through resolution;
Collaborate with team members to ensure that quality standards are met;
Document testing results and report on defects to the development team;
Creating and maintaining documentation and tutorials;
Proactively and clearly reports status and quality risks to partners and team for the work that the engineer directly owns and it's able to leverage basic quality metrics effectively when doing this.
2–3 years of of experience as a QA Analyst;
Experience in testing Web software and APIs;
Familiar with Linux OS;
Experience in test case design, creation, execution, and report;
Exposure to some tools like Postman, Charles, JIRA, Git, Xray, Jenkins;
Solid knowledge in software testing;
Good analysis, organization, communication, and teamwork skills;
A dynamic and critical spirit;
Strong problem-solving skills;
Keen attention to detail;
Ability and eagerness to learn;
Autonomy and initiative;
Passion for developing novel and unique systems that have a direct impact in people’s lives;
Natural leadership, winning personality and a drive to disrupt;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
What we would love to see
QA certification or equivalent accreditation (e.g. ISTQB);
Experience with hardware/firmware testing;
Experience with mobile Android/iOS tests.
