QA Analyst - Intern (m/f/d)

We are looking for a QA analyst intern to join the team Partnerships Integration, dedicated to the integration of partners inside or with Deezer ecosystem: distribution partners like telecommunication operators or hardware manufacturers (Amazon, Google, Sonos…). Our aim is to expand Deezer experience outside the company. 

As an intern, you’ll work closely with our QA Partnerships team, to plan and conduct various testing tasks: manual, automated, exploratory testing. You will also contribute by writing and maintaining automated tests scripts in Java for our mobile and web projects, or Javascript skills for our API tests. You’ll participate on a daily basis to our Agile rituals (team meetings, development meeting processes). 

This is a 6 month internship starting as soon as possible.

What you will do:

• Assist in planning and executing manual tests, including UI, API, and exploratory tests
• Work on the clean up of our automated tests projects
• Perform weekly tests on the mobile release candidates
• Help write and maintain test cases and related documentation for ongoing projects
• Track and update the bug backlog, writing clear and detailed bug reports
• Analyze and report the results of automated tests
• Support the development and maintenance of automated tests using Appium, Selenium and Postman
• Collaborate with product and tech teams to understand project goals and challenges
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and testing strategies
• Continuously learn and apply best practices in software testing and quality assurance

This role is excellent for a person with:

• Basic knowledge of the Java programming language, programming logic and principles
• Understanding of common software testing types, methodologies, and techniques
• Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and tools like Jira and GitHub
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members within QA and across other departments
• Good oral and written communication skills in English and French 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment

Would be a plus 

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and teamwork
