Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Analyst to join our Product QA function. This team is activated at the end of the development phase, validating new functionality before it moves into the Release QA cycle.

As a QA Analyst, you will perform initial functional testing, end-to-end validation, and API tests for new stories, new product features, and bug fixes delivered by both the Product Engineering and Support Engineering teams.

Your primary focus will be to:

1. Build comprehensive test plans

Test scenarios, expected outcomes, edge cases, functional flows, dependencies, and data requirements.

2. Design and build automated tests from scratch

Functional UI tests, end-to-end journeys, and API-level automation that will be:

• Executed during your QA cycle

• Handed over to Release Management to include in full regression test suites

You will sit between Developers and the Release Management team, acting as the quality gatekeeper that ensures only thoroughly validated changes enter the formal release pipeline.

This is a hands-on, technical QA role with significant influence on long-term product quality and test automation maturity.

Requirements

Functional & End-to-End Testing (First QA Phase)

• Perform initial validation of all stories, enhancements, UI changes, workflow logic, and bug fixes.
• Execute functional, end-to-end, smoke, and exploratory testing as soon as development work is complete.
• Validate business rules, data flows, integrations, and expected behaviors across the platform.

Test Planning & Scenario Design

• Create detailed test plans capturing:
• Expected outcomes
• Test scenarios & flows
• Edge cases
• Integration points
• Dependencies & data needs
• Ensure all requirements and acceptance criteria are covered and testable.

Test Automation

• Build reusable automated test cases using ACCELQ or equivalent.
• Create functional, end-to-end, and API automated tests to support your QA cycle.
• Ensure all new automated tests are clean, maintainable, and aligned with long-term regression strategy.
• Deliver automated test suites to the Release QA team for inclusion in regression cycles.

Quality Gatekeeping Between Dev & Release

• Serve as the primary QA checkpoint before changes enter Release QA.
• Ensure all validated artifacts meet quality, stability, and functional expectations.
• Collaborate closely with developers to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and retest fixes.

Defect Identification & Root-Cause Support

• Identify, log, and clearly document defects with reproducible steps and supporting evidence.
• Collaborate with engineering on root-cause analysis, retesting, and quality sign-off.

Continuous Improvement & Coverage Growth

• Identify gaps in functional or automation coverage from a “first QA phase” perspective.
• Recommend improvements to testing methods, automation patterns, and tooling.
• Contribute to building a scalable QA foundation for future product growth.

Requirements:

Required Experience & Skills

• 3+ years in a QA Analyst role within a SaaS or PaaS environment.
• Strong experience performing story-level and feature-level functional testing.
• Demonstrated ability to create high-quality test plans and comprehensive test scenarios.
• Hands-on experience building automated test cases from scratch (functional, end-to-end, or API).
• Experience with test automation tools (ACCELQ preferred).
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test coverage strategies, and risk-based testing.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into effective tests.
• Excellent communication skills (English) and stakeholder collaboration.
• Comfortable working remotely in a structured, self-managed role.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Postman, Swagger, or other API testing tools.
• Experience with JavaScript-based applications, SQL, BPMN workflows, APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and test management tools.
• ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
• Background in Supplier Information Management or ERP ecosystems (SAP or Oracle).
