We’re looking for an ambitious Python Developer to join our Backoffice Engineering Team responsible for our internal tooling.


About the Backoffice Engineering Team

Our Backoffice Engineering Team collaborates closely with Logistics, Accounting, and Customer Support teams, automating their operations as much as possible. The development team consults closely with the supported teams in order to understand their needs and suggest the best possible solutions that work for them and can be seamlessly integrated into our system.


Once you join the Team, you will be responsible for:

  • Writing internal tools that support our back-office teams’ everyday work

  • Developing and reviewing code for various parts of our system

  • Working with legacy systems, repaying the tech debt

  • Adhering to our strict code quality standards as well as suggesting improvements


In the role of Python Developer, we expect that you will:

  • Think about features you work on as a part of bigger, complex projects

  • Suggest new and fresh solutions to problems gathered from your colleagues

  • Take part in discussions about how to maintain, develop and regularly improve system architecture

  • and, obviously, write code ;)

You will be fairly remunerated (depending on your skills and experience) – 15.000 - 20.000 PLN for a B2B contract (other forms of employment are also possible).

Requirements

Job requirements

  • Min. 3 years of full-time coding experience

  • In-depth understanding of Python and Django

  • Focus on writing fast, clean, and maintainable code

  • Experience with Docker and Linux

  • Experience in working with Pytest

  • Good interpersonal and teamwork skills

  • Fluent Polish and good command of English

  • Working from our Warsaw office at least 3 days a week


It would be an additional plus if you have:

  • Experience in working with Vue JS and Quasar

  • Ability to write clear documentation

  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools

  • Experience with performance optimization

  • Being a board game geek and a dad jokes lover is actually a must but we put it here as our HR team believes it’s not crucial (although we kinda think it is)
