Backend Developer (Python) – Contract / Remote

We’re looking for a Backend Developer (Python) to join our team at MindPal for an exciting project in the telemetry and insights domain. You’ll work with an early-stage US startup, helping to shape integrations and backend systems that turn raw telemetry data into instant insights.

This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys autonomy, building real products, and solving engineering challenges in a fast-moving environment.

🟪 Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain backend integrations (Datadog, New Relic, Jira, GitHub).

• Develop and optimize Python-based microservices (FastAPI / Flask).

• Collaborate with a small distributed team (PM + GoLang developer + client’s engineers).

• Support infrastructure setup (AWS Lambda, Docker).

• Contribute to auth implementation (Clerk) and API performance improvements.

Requirements

🟪 Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in backend development (Python).

• Strong understanding of REST APIs, async programming, and integrations.

• Experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred).

• Ability to debug and work independently with minimal guidance.

• Good communication skills in English (daily collaboration with US-based team).
  

🟪 Nice to Have:

• Experience with GoLang or TypeScript.

• Knowledge of telemetry, monitoring tools (Datadog / New Relic).

• Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React / Next.js).
