PV Utility & BESS Engineer (all genders)

Your mission:

• SCADA System Configuration & Integration: Commission blue'Log® data loggers and plant controllers, integrate PV inverters, BESS components, weather stations, energy meters, MV equipment, and protection relays via Modbus TCP/RTU, IEC 60870-5-104, OPC-UA, or Sunspec protocols.
• Monitoring System Setup: Parameterize plant components, configure alarms and KPIs (PR, availability, specific yield), and validate sensor data.
• Hybrid PV + BESS Integration: Implement hybrid control strategies (zero export, peak shaving, ramp-rate control), monitor charge/discharge cycles and SoC, and configure data exchange between PPC and EMS.
• Grid Compliance & Plant Control: Set up active/reactive power, power factor, and frequency-watt/voltage-watt controls; interface with TSO/DSO and support remote dispatch/curtailment.
• Commissioning & Testing: Validate signal mapping, perform functional control tests, and support grid compliance verification.
• Cybersecurity & System Maintenance: Maintain secure networks, perform firmware updates, backup configurations, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.

Your profile:

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in utility-scale PV and/or BESS projects
• Strong practical experience with SCADA systems for renewable energy plants
• Proven experience commissioning plant controllers (e.g. blue'Log® or similar)
• Solid knowledge of Modbus TCP/RTU, IEC 60870‑5‑104, and industrial communication networks
• Experience integrating PV inverters, BESS components (PCS, BMS, EMS), and multi-vendor systems
• Familiarity with grid compliance, PPC/EMS interaction, and TSO/DSO coordination
• Fluent English and Spanish skills; able to work confidently in an international environment
