We are seeking a detail oriented and analytical Purchasing Coordinator to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process material requisitions
  • Once authorized create purchase orders and distribute to vendors
  • Communicate via phone & email with the vendors and internal customers
  • Administer subcontractor processes and put work out to bid
  • Negotiate contract rates for external services and purchasing of materials
  • Contract all 3rd party technicians outside of Field Nation platform
  • Control delivery of various items required for construction site installation processes
  • Negotiate national deals for products and services we purchase
  • Create and manage purchase orders and documents related to 3rd party service vendors
  • Coordinate the process of purchase order receipt, invoice application for both MYISIS and SAGE PO
  • Assist with ad hoc assignments as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

Who YOU are

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance on site

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration or related field is a plus
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Organizational skills
  • Proven ability to carry out purchasing functions
