Principal Software Engineer (PSE)- Data Engineering

We are hiring Software Engineers for our Data Engineering team. As a lead, you will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining a large-scale cloud-native data ingestion, processing, and Analytics system. You will work on technologies such as Apache Spark, Kafka, Dataproc and BigQuery in a GCP cloud environment to build a scalable data pipeline solution that delivers data to our users in near real-time.

Job Responsibilities:

- Designing and developing key pieces of our technology stack, including real time data pipelines and scalable data processing and Analytics services.

- Providing expertise and direction in planning for future requirements, scalability, availability, and accuracy of data in Datawarehouse system.

- Communicating and collaborating with other engineering and product management teams to plan, design, implement, and support complex data pipeline solutions.

- Monitoring, tuning, and fixing faults to improve performance and stability.

- Self-motivated Engineer who carries great passion for technology and innovation.

Technical Skills:

- Bachelor’s in computer science, E&C, EE or equivalent from Premier Engineering college

- 9+ years of relevant data engineering experience.

- Experience with Big Data technology like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, NoSQL based Data-warehousing solutions.

- Proficiency in Scala, Python or equivalent object-oriented languages, coupled with design patterns.

- Experience in developing large scale distributed data pipeline solution in a Microservice environment.

- Exposure to cloud (GCP or AWS), capacity planning and performance analysis at cloud scale.

- Experience in the Adtech industry a plus

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

 Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent

 8+ years of relevant experience.
