Trial Library is seeking a Provider Engagement Lead to prospect, onboard, activate, and manage a growing network of oncology providers participating in clinical trials. This role is highly focused on oncology clinical trials and plays a critical role in driving patient identification and referral into active studies. Provider Engagement Lead will be responsible for remote cold-call outreach, relationship development, and ongoing provider activation. This individual must be comfortable guiding providers in identifying eligible patients, overcoming objections, and maintaining consistent engagement to sustain trial momentum. The ideal candidate brings prior experience working with providers in clinical trials and understands the realities of provider workflows, competing priorities, and enrollment barriers. This role requires a highly motivated, solution-driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and is comfortable owning outcomes end-to-end. T his position reports to the Associate Director of Provider Partnerships and works closely with the Project Management Team and Navigation Team. This is a primarily remote role, with occasional travel as needed. Your Responsibilities
  • Provider Prospecting & Funnel Development
  • Proactively source, prospect, and engage net-new oncology providers through remote cold calling, email, and other outbound strategies
  • Build and manage a robust provider funnel from initial outreach through contracting, onboarding, and activation.
  • Leverage existing relationships and provider networks to accelerate adoption of the Trial Library platform.
  • Maintain accurate CRM tracking of outreach, engagement, conversion, and activation metrics.Lead educational sessions, both virtual and in-person, for providers and their administrative and research teams, focusing on Trial Library's solutions.

  • Provider Engagement, Activation & Objection Handling
  • Build trusted, long-term relationships with healthcare providers and practice leadership while maintaining the ability to challenge and activate providers around clinical trial participation.
  • Actively drive providers to identify and refer patients eligible for oncology clinical trials, driving consistent referral activity.
  • Address and overcome provider objections related to time, workflow burden, trial fit, or operational complexity.
  • Providers on clinical trial opportunities and reinforce the value of Trial Library in supporting enrollment and patient access.

  • Provider Network Management & Enablement
  • Manage an active and growing network of oncology providers, ensuring ongoing engagement and responsiveness.
  • Implement scalable provider management strategies, including automations, standardized workflows, and feedback loops.Keep providers informed of new trials, updates, and best practices to sustain long-term participation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for provider questions, issues, and operational needs.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Insights
  • Work closely with the Project Management Team to support contract execution, enrollment timelines, and provider performance.
  • Partner with the Navigation Team to ensure alignment between provider activity and patient navigation workflows.
  • Track provider engagement trends, referral patterns, objections, and bottlenecks.
  • Regular insights and actionable feedback to Project Managers and leadership to improve trial performance and provider strategies.
  • Partner with product and marketing team on several key initiatives - help gather user feedback, provider outreach campaigns, ideate on content creation and support event marketing efforts. 

  • Startup Contribution & Strategic Impact

  • Contribute to the development of scalable processes for managing and activating a national provider network.
  • Share field insights to inform product development, operational strategy, and provider partnership models.
  • Your Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with healthcare providers in a clinical trials, oncology, life sciences, or related healthcare environment
  • Demonstrated experience engaging providers in clinical trials, including driving patient identification and referrals
  • Proven ability to overcome provider objections and influence behavior change in a clinical setting
  • Experience with remote outbound outreach, including cold calling and relationship-driven sales or engagement
  • Existing network of oncology or clinical research providers strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of provider workflows, enrollment barriers, and clinical trial operations
  • Experience managing and activating a provider or physician network at scale
  • Highly organized with strong CRM discipline and data-driven mindset
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment with high autonomy and accountability
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Solution-driven, proactive, and able to translate insights into action
