Provider Enablement Consultant

As the Provider Enablement Consultant, you will play a key role in helping providers succeed in value-based care (VBC) arrangements. This position requires a Registered Nurse (RN) with strong analytic capabilities to support providers in optimizing care quality, patient outcomes, and performance metrics. The ideal candidate will work closely with providers to identify areas for improvement, offer strategic guidance, and ensure alignment with value-based care goals.
Success Measures:
- In 3 months:
- Successfully complete onboarding training and tasks.
- Develop understanding of provider-facing training materials and use of internal products.
- Perform mock provider enablement meeting, including prep work and follow-up documentation.
- Shadow provider enablement meetings and assist with meeting prep.
- Develop relationships with provider enablement clients.
- In 6 months:
- Co-host provider-facing webinars.
- Assist in development of provider-facing webinar materials.
- Develop FAQs and provider attendance tracker.
- Independently conduct provider enablement meetings.
- Track all provider enablement activities in the designated platform.
- Establish strong relationships with client base and providers.
- In 12 months:
- Perform kick-off JOC meetings with assigned provider groups.
- Provide performance data for established KPIs.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to assess and improve patient care quality and operational efficiency.
- Analyze provider performance data (quality metrics, cost savings, patient outcomes) and provide actionable recommendations to enhance VBC outcomes.
- Provide direct support to providers and serve as VBC expert.
- Leverage clinical expertise to drive provider conversations and opportunity analysis.
- Educate providers on VBC models, payer expectations, and performance benchmarks, ensuring they understand how to achieve and sustain success.
- Develop and present regular performance reports, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with providers to ensure long-term collaboration and alignment with organizational goals.
- Gather provider feedback and work with internal teams to enhance tools, resources, and processes that support provider performance.
Position Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RN) with active, unrestricted licensure.
- Strong ability to interpret healthcare data and performance metrics, with a solid understanding of value-based care models.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in clinical care, healthcare consulting, or provider performance improvement.
- Familiarity with VBC metrics, including quality measures, cost savings, patient outcomes, and payer expectations (e.g., HEDIS, MIPS, ACOs).
- Proven ability to identify challenges and propose solutions to enhance provider performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Ability to build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with healthcare providers.
- Proficient with healthcare technology systems (EHRs, performance dashboards) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience working in a value-based care organization or accountable care organization (ACO) is preferred.
- Previous experience in healthcare consulting or quality improvement initiatives is preferred.
- Familiarity with payer-provider contract structures and performance incentives in VBC models is preferred.
